Lambert Neo, à Paria
Very beautiful and special French precision Table regulator with central second hand. The enamel dial is signed with: "Lambert Neo, à Paria 1807 nr.44".
This clockmaker can be found in "Dictionnaire des Horlogers Francais van Tardy" on page 346. (see photos) and worked with A.L. Breguet.
A similar clock can also be found in "Precision Pendulum Clocks, by Derek Roberts" on page 45.
This case shape was made in series and numbered, in this case number 44.
Large and beautifully made movement with pin escapement and striking mechanism on full and half hours on a bell. Heavy pendulum with temperature compensation.
Beautiful Cuba mahogany wooden case with nice bronze and fire-gilded ornaments.
