A nice little German Jockele clock with striking!
Porcelain undamaged face with enamel dial. Small wooden clockwork with brass gears and steel shafts. Day runner, striking every hour on a bell. Steel original hands.
The clock is in original state.
This type of clock has a high decorative and museum value and is less suitable for daily use. The pendulum is a duplicate.
Dimensions of the faceplate: HxW - 15 x 11 cm.
Dimensions of the clockwork case: H x D x W - 8 x 6 x 6 cm.
Dating about 1850 - 1860.
The inventor of the Jockele-Uhren : Jacob Herbstreith (1763 - 1845) was born in Waldau im Schwarzwald.
